Ashley is a results-driven commercial real estate and social impact leader with twenty years of experience in leasing, development, marketing and placemaking in New York City and the metropolitan area. While centering the mission of creating and maintaining resilient and inclusive communities, Ashley's deep private sector experience provides the foundation for collaborative equitable development work across the private, public and non-profit sectors.
As of September 2022, Ashley serves as Chief of Place and Real Estate for Newark Alliance and is responsible for identifying and facilitating real estate development and placemaking projects to benefit the economic vitality for the city of Newark, NJ. Additionally, she's keenly focused on the continued development of Halsey Street in Newark into a nationally recognized destination to live, work and visit.
Before joining the Alliance Ashley served as Senior Vice President & Head of Leasing for the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation, a non-profit real estate developer. At the Yard Ashley was responsible for the oversight of leasing transactional work and top-line performance through the curation of the business ecosystem of advanced manufacturing, tech and creative companies. Additionally, she informed the organization’s strategies around equitable and inclusive growth, marketing and amenitziation.

Before joining the Brooklyn Navy Yard's management team, Ashley worked for The Durst Organization, a Manhattan based owner/developer of some of the most sustainable office buildings in New York City, where she handled office and retail office leasing and helped launch the company's flexible office offering.
Previous to her time at Durst, Ashley worked for SL Green Realty Corp., New York City's largest commercial landlord where she was Vice President, Leasing for a 7M SF Manhattan office portfolio.
